In our previous post about Dr. Kent Brantly, we wrote the Doctor was in critical condition due to the Ebola virus infection. Dr. Kent was infected while working in Liberia with Samaritan’s Purse. He however remains hopeful that God heal him.

Sierra Leone's Chief Ebola Doctor Dies From The Virus

Sheik Umar Khan, the 39 year old Sierra Leonean virologist who treated more than 100 Ebola patients in his country has died. Khan (pictured above), was hailed as a national hero for disregarding his own health and helping sick patients. He was the only specialist the country had in viral haemorrhagic fevers and succumbed to the deadly disease after being diagnosed with the virus last week. He contracted the virus despite exercising extreme caution by wearing protective gear when treating patients.

Ebola Virus Is Said To Spread Rapidly In West Africa

From the time it was discovered in March this year, the number of cases reported as a result of Ebola in West African nations in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea stands at 1,201, plus 672. Two doctors from the U.S got infected by a virus while trying to stop it from spreading.
