Bridesmaid Walks Her Sister Down The Aisle While In Labor

Lucy Morris, a primary school teacher, was one of her sister’s bridesmaids. She was pregnant, but that could not stop her from walking her sister down the aisle. The most amazing thing is that Lucy was experiencing labor, but she didn’t tell the bride.

The 29-year-old brave bridesmaid didn’t want to spoil her sister’s wedding, so she decided to keep quiet about her unbearable contractions until the reception. At the time, Lucy was one week overdue. Despite her contractions which began early in the morning, Lucy still managed to walk her sister down the aisle and also pose for photos.

The pregnant bridesmaid was then rushed to the hospital since she could no longer take the increasingly intense and agonizing contractions. Lucy’s mother took her to Doncaster Royal Infirmary, where she gave birth to a baby girl after 13 hours.

She said that she didn’t know how she made it to the ceremony, because she was so much in pain. She said she continued praying that the waters don’t break before the couple exchanged their vows. The venue for the wedding was at Doncaster's Sacred Heart Church and later the reception at the nearby Holiday Inn Hotel.
